In The Mind’s Eye, Oliver Sacks tells the stories of people who are able to navigate the world and communicate with others despite losing what many of us consider indispensable senses and abilities: the power of speech, the capacity to recognize faces, the sense of three-dimensional space, the ability to read, the sense of sight.

Mind eyewear is a fictional eyewear company which offers customers a unique perspective of the world. I based this project on the book ‘The Mind’s Eye’ by Oliver Sacks; each pair of glasses is based upon one of Oliver Sack’s patients in the book. Each of the patients experience the world slightly differently because of the way their brain percevies imagry, which I’ve tried to recreate for people to experience through the glasses and posters.
